Running a business alongside another job can be challenging, but for Liam, the rewards outweigh the difficulties. He passionately adds, "My favourite part of running Ethical Schoolwear is the opportunity to make a positive impact. For every order, I plant a tree on my smallholding, and customers can even name their tree. Seeing the joy in children's faces as they name their tree brings me so much joy."

However, like any business, Ethical Schoolwear faces its own set of challenges. Liam explains, "School uniform is seasonal, and during term time, the concerns about SEO and social media seem trivial. But once school uniform season hits, the excitement and demand take centre stage."

What sets Ethical Schoolwear apart is its commitment to eco-conscious business practices. When asked about his decision to be more eco-conscious, Liam confidently states, "It's the right thing to do. Every decision I make considers the impact on people and the planet."

Taking the first steps towards eco business practices was not without its hurdles. Liam recalls, "I started by finding eco and ethically focused suppliers. It was a need I had as a parent, and I realised there must be others who care about these issues as well."
