Our recycled felt grow bags are made completely using post consumer plastic diverted away from landfill. 



Plastic bottles get collected, washed and chopped into tiny flakes, which are then melted down. This melted goo forms into chips and is eventually spun into a fibre yarn. It's this yarn that makes up our plant pots.

Material is certified under the Global Recycling Standard.

Roots that grow inside plastic pots aren’t exposed to any air, and will grow in a constricted pattern, typically known as root circling. 
Twisted roots become strangled which can reduce the uptake of water and nutrients. When a plant has less nutrients it may cause leaves to turn yellow or brown and drop, or it may even fail completely.  

Our felt grow bags allow air to freely pass through tiny gaps in the material, which helps to prune the roots and encourages new, healthy root growth. This supports a healthy plant all the way up to the top.
